The Singapore Invitational Race attracted many highly-skilled drivers from many countries including Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand; more than 100 drivers attended the race since it was one of the most highly-participated races ever held! The track was in excellent shape and the weather was looking good for the race. XRAY drivers from Singapore included: Sam Cheng, Chester Chua, Glenn Phuah, Luigi and Stanley from Indonesia.

There were 12 heats for the race. It was an intense battle on the track as many of the drivers were clocking good times to qualify for the next round.
All XRAY drivers qualified for the quarter-finals. The race has delayed for 60 minutes due to heavy rain.

The quarter-finals round commenced after the rain. Chester Chua and Glenn Phuah did well during the round but had to retire a few minutes before the race finished. Chesterâ™s XB8EC was in 3rd position when his upper right-arm screw came off. Glennâ™s XB8EC suffered an engine stall during the race.

Sam Chengâ™s XB8EC was in the top 3 position in the semi-final round when he suffered an unprecedented problem with his receiver, forcing him to retire from the race.

Stanley qualified for the A-Main Final (60min). It was a fierce battle between all the drivers in the final. He did well and at the end of the race claimed 5th position.

Overall, the XRAY drivers did their best in the Singapore Invitational Race.
